AMY MCCAFFERY
Owner and PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
My love of horses began and the young age of 5 when I fell in love with a horse that had a baby behind our house. I collected horses and drew horses and lived and breathed as if I was a horse from that point forward. My mother put me in riding lessons at age 8 and I have never stopped riding since. I have background in all disciplines of both western and English riding and have shown both successfully over the years. In 2013 found my passion in therapeutic riding and I knew that I wanted to open my own riding academy where I could provide my clients with a safe, loving environment full of enrichment. After the closing of another therapy program where I was teaching, I found the need to continue services for my clients. So with the help of some friends I moved my dream forward into reality and OTRA opened in the fall of 2018. I continue to look forward to our future of successful horsemanship classes for riders of ALL abilities.
